A Custom TV Unit Designed for Style & Everyday Living

The centrepiece of this Chatswood project is a fully bespoke TV unit, meticulously crafted to serve as both a feature element and a practical storage solution.

Slim-Profile Shaker Doors in Dulux Sepal

We designed the cabinetry using elegant thin-profile shaker-style doors, painted in the sophisticated Dulux Sepal colour. This soft green-grey tone brings a calm and refined atmosphere to the living space, offering a perfect backdrop for the warmer timber accents. Paired with premium brass handles, the TV unit exudes understated elegance and aligns with the client’s desire for a contemporary yet timeless design.

Polytec Australian Native Walnut Shelving & TV Recess

To introduce warmth and natural texture, we incorporated Polytec Australian Native Walnut within the open shelving and TV recess. This rich timber finish contrasts beautifully with the painted joinery, allowing the unit to function not only as storage but also as a focal point for décor and display items. The blend of Dulux Sepal with the warm timber grain creates a balanced, modern aesthetic that enhances the home’s interior while providing long-lasting durability.

Custom Shoe Shelf & Seating Nook

To complete the project, GB Interiors designed a highly functional shoe shelf and shoe-wearing seating area—a clever addition that maximises organisation while enhancing the home's entry or hallway space. Using the same palette of Dulux Sepal, Polytec Australian Native Walnut, and brass hardware, this area ties seamlessly into the rest of the project. The integrated bench provides a comfortable place for putting on shoes, while the shelving offers organised and accessible storage for the whole family.
